Deep Tissue?

Don't be scared.

One of the primary benefits of simple Deep Tissue Massage is the stretching and lengthening of muscles, but, there are more than 50 Deep Tissue massage modalities (techniques) and some DO require the application of heavy pressure.

Not all bodies are built for heavy pressure however, or, even require it.

 "Deep" refers to palpating (feeling) through layers of skin, fat, muscles, tendons, veins & nerves, to access the core of your challenged areas.
